Technology

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School works diligently to stay atop of technology trends and advancements. Students in grades 3-8 have use Chrome books and lower grades have desktops computers and iPad to create a technology station. Classrooms utilize online programs such as Renaissance Learning and Khan Academy and teachers have iPads, Apple TV, document cameras, and projectors to enhance instruction. Students learn to use technology as well as enrich content understanding. In addition, students collaborate through technology using Google Docs and Google Classroom.

Sports

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School participates in the Small School Athletic League . Specific sport teams at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School vary annually depending on student interest and coaches availability. Typically, boys flag football, girls’ volleyball, and boys and girls basketball are held each year.

The focus of all sports is to teach and build teamwork and good sportsmanship. Participants, coaches, and parents are all expected demonstrate Christian behavior during games and practices.

Art

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School offers art projects weaved into daily curriculum; however, students in 6th through 8th grade also experience regular art classes with the help of volunteers. The class focuses on influential artists and create a project inspired by their learnings.
